We made an early start to get the 10 miles further south to
Galesville where we met our friends Bud, Gail and Bob who have also shown us
limitless kindness and generosity whilst we have been in the US. We had lunch
at Pirates Cove (Gail had oysters) and then set off across Chesapeake Bay to
the East Shore.
We arrived at St Michaels and tied up at the Crabs Claw Restaurant for supper (Gail had oysters). Bud has been here many times over the years and although the town is still as pretty, the restaurant he felt had not stood the test of time so well.
We had to move the boat after supper, anchoring just in the bay – waking up to this lovely view.
