Unbelieveable……and we thought the ARC was bad, 3 days of 4 knot winds!!!!!!!!

Oh except for yesterday when it suddenly blew 40 knots out of nowhere..just after the crew were telling me how boring sailing is..and I said you wouldn’t say that if it blew 40 knots and we had the spinnaker up…well guess what! A few more small rips and some deck-side heroics later after a 3 man team  pulled down on the snuffer in a 60 degree broach…..the crew were far more impressed!

And today is Adam’s birthday, Paella for lunch, lots of backgammon and 2 knots of progress, the crew are calling to find out about helicopter lifts and mid sea pick-ups to get back to work and I look on sagely with that “I told you we couldn’t sail to a deadline” _expression_…oh well lets keep trimming!!

Water maker stopped working and we have now officially run out of washing water, drinking okay for 6 more days…

So it’s a smelly hello to you all from all aboardNakesa..,…roll on Bermuda!!
