Sunday 31 July 2011 38:46.77N 1:25.64E The Sunday was a day of reckoning (sleeping, eating, cleaning, washing decks And attempting rec- Onciliation with the motored Anchor winch). Setting sail At half past four for Formentera, We rounded northern islands And found the Bay Espalmadore, A natural harbour, bounded on Two sides by sanded beach. We drank and swam, or swam and drank, And later, oriental mandarin And rosey tinted hues Took our breath and final light out From the sky. This was the last day Of July. Jo Edwards |
