Left Tobago Cays early through the western channel, again interesting eyeball navigation through a gap in the reef. Fast sail to Admiralty Bay on Bequia, where we anchored and had lunch at Maria’s on a first floor balcony. The food was good, and after looking around in the evening, returned for a great dinner. Maria, who is French, bucked the general Caribbean tendency towards unexceptional food. We found the more basic and ‘local’ food best: attempts at more adventurous food were generally less successful. Having said that, we did not frequent the more expensive establishments…29 miles
