James and Sara reluctantly packed bags and looked forward to Bucks Fizz for breakfast. The realisation that we had lost an hour dawned – and a rapid departure in the hire car to drop us at the airport. Jamie, Doug and Deborah the drove towards Sète.

We got to Sète by mid afternoon, and stayed with Marie Therese and Thierry who are refurbishing a brilliant property on the Mont Saint Clair, near where I used to live many moons ago. On Sunday we went round the main market which is spectacular, including sea bass gasping away on ice waiting to be bought. There was a boat show on at Cap D’Agde nearby where we had lunch and then carried on back to Blanes. The weather was great.
