A good day: Wind + sun + fish
Yesterday at 6pm we turned the engine off and start to sail on a closed hauled course.
First with a 8 kts wind that increased to 17 kts at the moment.
Forecast are for the wind to continue around 15 kts for the next 3 days but veer more to the east, so that it will force to start to sail a bit south of rhumb line
but nevertheless sail.
At 10 am this morning the proven lure brought us the second Mahi-Mahi of the trip.
Not as big as the first but still good for two meals.
Emacs!
Finnaly sailing on a close hauled corse with all canvas out.
Emacs!
Damien cleaning the catch of the day.
