Our position is 50:50.5N 000:55.8W and here Triple D will stay!
We arrived in Emsworth marina just before midday on Friday, as planned. Our last full day of sailing was absolutely amazing, just brilliant fun surfing down some huge waves in the Channel, and we made it to Yarmouth marina at about 8.30pm. Just in time to head to the nearest pub for some dinner and a few drinks. Annoyingly, the sky was completely clear and it looked as if it would be a beautiful sunset and a clear starry sky out at sea! But never mind, we were happy to be safely tied up in a marina and had great night of sleep.

Up at 8 and we quickly slipped out of the marina for a nice morning's sail home. It passed very quickly after having nine days non-stop at sea! Mum and I got slightly quieter as we sailed past the familiar lovely skyline of Portsmouth (James Laker I can hear you laughing from here but it's true!) Emsworth marina was tiny but we slipped into a space with help from our welcoming committee of Jilli, Shelly and Sarah - all wearing party hats and holding a huge banner saying 'Yay Triple D!'. The last 24 hours or so have passed in a bit of a blur of sorting out boat stuff and our resident chefs Andy and James cooking a huge three course dinner on board Triple D for 8 people!!!
An amazing night, an amazing journey, an amazing year. I move up to London tomorrow, so it's goodbye to the Triple Ds!!
