Siempre now being classed as seaworthy again, Kim, me and two friends Jim and Dawn arrived in Ibiza to get her back in the water and on to Cala d’Or. Jim dropped his mobile phone in the water during the launch and was distraught for a week. It was now that we learned about the plastic “sheath” that the yard had cut off once Siempre was lifted.

After a day off in Ibiza provisioning, an expensive meal at the Butafoch marina and taking Dawn to a noisy nightclub, we set sail to the south of Majorca and stopped the night in Andraitx (39.32.8N 002.23.0E) where we had the most expensive meal ever just outside the marina. It was good though!

We took a day off here and explored the towns restaurants (well, we were on holiday).
