Finally the time had come to bite the bullet and start cruising and so we left Aguadulce on a long leg under motor for Mazarron (37.33.4N 001.16.4W), the first of our “one and a half handed” voyage. Much motoring was to ensue over the weeks with typical Mediterranean weather and excitement trying to berth in tight spots stern to with lazy lines. A Chinese meal with a bottle of wine celebrated the uneventful start.
