We arrived in Tortola, British Virgin Islands BVI, after a uneventful flight from UK. We were completely shattered, Oscar in particular because he had flown from China on the 4th May
two days beforehand.

The past three days have seen us and the incredibly helpful staff from Horizon preparing Sawsea Lady for sea. Fitting a new GPS, AIS Transponder, buying one months provisions and storing them using hammock nets for the fruit and veg. Checking the rig and sails, running rigging in 85 degrees Fahrenheit  with the sun beating down on the decks.

Just to add to things Anthony who was supposed to join us on the 8th has had to stay over night in Antigua because LIAT the local airline failed to find a seat for him on his intended flight. We await his arrival with abated breath.
