SSL departed with David, Terri, Oscar and Plilippa as crew from Rodney Bay at 0700, we set the main with one reef and a full foresail for the passage to Fort de France, Martinique. The wind was still blowing a good fresh Easterly at 20 knots and we made a quick broad reaching passage. We anchored close under the lee of the fort, but there was a considerable ground swell, which made getting ashore in Mike's Avon a bit tricky. However after two trips we made it - spent some euros on a meal looked round the town and made our way back to SSL. The plan is to leave at 0700 for Dominica.
