WE ARE OFF

At last after days of snag fixing and waiting for a Force 8 followed by a Force 10 followed by another Force 8 we were ready to sail ! Not far away in the Bay of Biscay  Robin Knox Johnson was rolled 360 at the start of the single handed round the world race yesterday.

We left France on Thursday 26th October at 4pm heading across the Bay of Biscay for our first waypoint off Cape Finisterre. The weather is clear, wind force 2 to 3 with smooth seas. Motor sailing at 7.5 knots means we should make the way point on Saturday late afternoon.
