We're 446 miles from Las Palmas, and after a great day of surfing downwind yesterday, the next 36 hours looks very light - we're currently making about 4 knots, so the engine will be going on soon. This is a bit of a pain, as we don't really carry enough fuel to motor all the way through this hole, so we might be delayed by a little bit while we drift around waiting for the wind to fill in again!
I'm sure we'll make the most of the hot, sunny, windless day to do some serious fishing. Finger's crossed anyway.
Alisdair's threatening to write something a little more creative for the blog - there's a treat to look forward to. It will surely be better than my idle ramblings.
