The sun's up and it's already very warm on deck this morning. We're lucky
to still have about 15 knots of north-easterly breeze which means we're fast
approaching Spain with less than 200 miles to go until we turn the corner
and head due south.
We celebrated my (belated) Birthday last night - something that always seems
to happen in a similar place each year. Kath produced a surprise cake and we
learned that keeping candles alight on deck is impossible. I'm glad we're
so far offshore, if only so that nobody could hear the singing!
