Yesterday and today have been good wind days as the trade winds are FINALLY
starting to fill in. The winds yesterday were lighter but we still managed
to sail the better part of the day. We decided to boost crew morale by
firing up the Generator and running the Air Conditioners last night. WOW
what a difference in attitude that made. Everyone slept well and woke up
with a positive attitude and smiles on their faces. The sleep plus a cup of
coffee made Tater fired up from sunrise until noon. He hasn't been quiet for
more than 3 minutes at a stretch. Mike cooked a great pasta dish with
homemade meatballs for dinner which made the sleeping even easier.

Today we flew the Asymmetrical Chute at first light and are on nice beam
reach heading right at St. Lucia. We are estimating a finish time of
Thursday (early morning). Everyone believes we will cross the finish line at
night because, "you always finish at night". Morale is good today as we
cracked the 1,000 nautical miles to go barrier. We are looking forward to
the trade wind sailing to the finish. We are currently ranked 20th out of
250 boats including the handicaps.

We changed the plane flights to Friday so we have enough time to clean the
boat. I will be home for my youngest son Luke's 6th birthday party on
Saturday! It should be a grand time. I am looking forward to it.

Hello to all our family's, the crew are looking forward to seeing all of
you.
