Oyster Service Team on board to go over all the boat's systems. The Riggers
went up the mast while the rest of the team took care of their speciality.
They have been invaluable in assisting us with our preparations. There were
no major issues only slight aesthetic problems. We had a practice sailing
day yesterday but the wind was not cooperative as it died once we got
outside. We had the boats bottom scrubbed yesterday and then took went to
the Oyster Owner's Dinner last night. They throw a very nice party and it
was nice to exchange stories with first timers and experienced sailors
alike.
We are looking forward to getting started as the constant preparations are
tiresome. We feel we are well prepared and ready to go. Only a couple of
minor preparations left to go.
