We just completed our first overnight passage and it included a number of first’s for the Noble part of the crew. Among the first’s were:

1.       First Crossing of the English Channel

2.       First upwind sail

3.       First Beam Reach

4.       First Broad Reach

5.       First Run

6.       First Wing to Wing

7.       First crossing of the Greenwich Meridian

We started off approximately 2 degrees West Longitude and crossed into East Longitude around 3:30 am GMT. The boat performed well as did the crew. We pulled into Guernsey around 6:00 pm after 29 hours at sea. The boat averaged ~ 8 knots of speed and covered 195 nm in 24 hours.

We are heading South today and will try to upload a blog via the Satellite in the next 24 hours.
