Good morning,
Forgive the paucity of updates but this is my first time trying daily blog upates while at sea and the format for updating our position on the map eludes me. Hope this works. I have resent our previous positions but for all I know we may be zig zagging all over the mid Atlantic. Today is Friday our last full day at sea before Bermuda with an ETA of Saturday, hopefully in the am as the "Admiral" flies in to join us there. There is considerable consternation within the fleet about some nasty weather brewing off the Carolinas and hitting Bermuda tomorrow night. The slower boats will not make it and may have to "heave to" or take evasive action. Our plan is to be safely anchored with a "Dark & Stormy"  before it becomes dark & stormy. This morning belies nothing of what is to come . The orange globe just peeked over the eastern horizon, ocean is flat calm with gentle rollers and we are motoring with gusto to make Bermuda before the storm.  Tried the spinnaker yesterday for the first time. Not quite enough wind to make her fly but a very pretty sail and good practice on how to use it. No fish. Excellent dinner of spaghetti bolognese but lacked lustre without a nice glass of red wine.....Next update from Bermuda with some crew profiles..
