Friends,
We have Tortola in sight....yea. GPS says another 4
hrs or so. Guess we should shave and make ourselves presentable. We may get a
washdown as a squall is bearing down on us as I write. Plan to clear customs at
Sopers Hole and then proceed immediately to Nanny Cay where we can plug the boat
into shore power, clean and have a cocktail....Started the morning with Austin's
Famous Stcky Buns (Pillsbury !) then my famous egg sandwiches. Coffee will wait
'till tomorrow. That is one thing both Eva and I lose the taste for at
sea. The rally group all said goodbye to one another as we all have
different plans for the winter. We are first in with four 200+ nm days in a row.
That is quite a statistic actually. I will finish with an entry once we are
ashore but would love to thank my crew,Austin, Jim, Melissa and Eva for making
this happen, and making it so much fun. Thank you.
