Friends,

Finally some gorgeous Bermuda weather to send us on
our way. A busy morning of getting Melissa on a flight home (much sadness) ,
going to the dock for water, and finally refuelling. May not need the
fuel as the winds look very favorable for the entire trip, but always good
to have diesel in reserve. We heard several stories of boats almost making it to
Bermuda before Sean hit and then getting battered by strong headwinds. Very sad
news. The last boat that we were waiting for has been abandoned and one person
lost at sea. I just can't say any more at the moment as they had become part of
our cruising family and had battled hard in very adverse conditions. They
weigh full in our thoughts and hearts. So we are on our way with an expected 4-5
day passage with favorable winds from the NE. I will try to update
daily and give a more accurate ETA as we move on down the
line....
