Rather a quiet few days after our Christmas excitement just sunbathing, reading and praying for wind  as we were worryingly down to our last few days of fuel.

Only today, touch wood, have the wind conditions been such that the engine has been off more than on and the main sail is doing a proper job rather than just keeping us balanced.

Poor Dean seems to have drawn the short straw as far as the watches are concerned. The cockroaches came to light on his watch and for the past two nights he has been plagued by flying fish, being hit on the head by quite a big one last night. These unfortunately are the only creatures of any note, we haven’t seen any dolphins for a few days and today was the first day we didn’t get to see any whales.

Clocks have gone back another hour so we are now UT -2

Last 2 hours and now we have over 20 knots of wind and flying along- this could mess up the ETA sweepstake!
