After nearly a week of waiting we managed to find a small window to get away from Plymouth and across the Bay of Biscay without getting too clobbered.

We set off at first light and entered into the bay around midnight accompanied by dolphins and now the boat is cruising at over 9 knots on port across BOB and at this rate we should make Finisterre Friday early PM.

As soon as we set off we had to make a diversion due to numerous warship exercises but we did spot a submarine.

Apart from being a bit cold all is ok
