10.00 am this morning we motored out of the marina and set off for Antigua.

A beautiful sunny day and zero wind until we passed the end of the island and then we have then been sailing south at 8 knots or so.

We are aiming first quite a long way south down to the Cape Verde islands (800 miles) as that is where all the wind is going in the right direction.

Very strangely the winds here are from the west which is all wrong for this time of year.

Sarah knocked up our traditional fresh roasted chicken sandwiches for lunch and now we just sit back and don’t look at the distance to go display.

Everyone enjoyed the sun today and the tans are starting, Bev managed to get burned already.

There have been a few dolphins and also a whale spout was seen.
