Subject: grenada As promised a few pictures of our activities in Grenada. We never seemed to
have the camera with us in the evening . Phew!
For all you chocaholics the smell of drying cocoa beans here would have
been impossible to endure. This was taken at Belmont estate in N Grenada where
they still ferment and roast cocoa beans in the tradtional way.
Nutmeg is a most important ingredient of a rum punch and this lady has to
work unfeasibly hard to sort the highest quality nutmegs for that very purpose.
She does this from 7 til 3, 5 days a week. So you think your job is dull?
Racing on 'Farrfly' with David Cullen on the helm during Grenada festival
of sail . We manged 2nd overall which isn't bad bearing in mind the means of
crew selection!
Farrfly returned to cruising trim after a hard week's racing on it's own
private jetty with David's house behind. Hmmm.
Enjoy - we are.
