Tobago Cays

You will be glad to know that it is raining - which is good because I wanted
to check the resealing job I did on one of the windows while we were in
Bequia. All dry.

We are presently anchored behind a coral reef on the windward side of the
Tobago Cays (nowhere near Tobago) and the line of coral is the only thing
seperating our 35' fibreglass lunch box from the entire Atlantic ocean. The
snorkelling is fantastic and the windsurfing would be if the wind blew
during the day rather than at night. It has been a bit squally for the last
couple of days - hence the rain - but we hope to get the board out once it
clears up.

Caught a fantastic tuna between Mustique and Canouan which was cleaned and
butchered ready for it's first meal within a couple of hours. Having taken
some advice about fishing (which has clearly paid off) I should let you know
that however good the lure and tackle, they will not catch fish if you leave
the plastic protector on the hook. It was obvious why we caught no fish
between Bequia and Mustique when a shoal of tuna were laughing at us when we
discovered the protection still on. Hemingway style pictures will be posted
on the web when we get back to civilisation.

Must away and get some exercise so we can fit in some more tuna.
