Marigot Bay - Hurricane Hole

We have now moved a whole 10 miles South to Marigot Bay having suffered a
NYE party in Rodney Bay where we did avoid the Conga but did spend an
enjoyable evening with some suitably lubricated Danes. Great fireworks all
along the beach but we pooped pretty early (1ish) to work off our built up
sleep deficit.

Rodney Bay was great as a landfall and enabled us to fill tanks and have an
electrician rip us off for a day's work beefing up the wiring from
alternator to batts. Good work but definitely done on Caribbean time. Glad
to get it all sorted because charging the batts has been a bit of a problem.

Happy hour is not half price drinks but double the amount for the same
price. The difference is subtle but makes for a very relaxed evening under
the stars. It's so great to cook a nice meal and be able to put things down
without them escaping into the bilge.

JUst coming to terms with the fact that the only dates in the diary between
now and June are meeting Davies and Craigs in Margarita (coup permitting)
and meeting Andrew Mac in Bermuda on April 7 (at 0900) so he can get us home
(where?). I expect we will happily fill that time just thinking how to fill
it.

Woops - tropical rain storm - how we suffer.
