After a horrible trip round biscay in which we shipped large amounts of water twice and blew a stern gland whatever that is we moseyed up through the inner channel at Ushant which was mega horrible and headed for an overnight recovery pimms at Roscoff in NW France otherwise known as the town god forgot ... 2000 yacht marina in concrete landscape with about 100 yachts; headed fr there to Jersey in horrible seas. Two nights testing the local brew and gathering info for my my next book on treason and treachery in the Channel Islands blasted off for Guernsey followed by Alderney last night doing an evening tour of their WW2 SS concentration camp followed by a Thai meal. Fell asleep at table so missed all but the paying bit: now heading up Solent for Hamble after nearly a year and 10,500 miles. Not sure what ill do on Monday ;-)
