Today is the day. Still only 5 knots of wind, on the nose, with a small but nasty choppy sea on the nose as well. Should see Bermuda in the next 4 or 5 hours which will coincide nicely with a hot dog lunch and a would be lager had crocodile Houlahan not drunk them all. We are now down to emergency alcohol which comprises vsop xo Henessy Brandy and White Monkey Wine from New Zealand. I never thought it would come to this. Have checked the Nautical Bible...Atlantic Crossing Guide and not a word about Chinese Restaurants in Bermuda. Yachting Monthly would have said 'check before you set off' but I was negligent and may now be without until the Azores. Mark and Steve the Firemen will be arriving aeronautically in Bermuda to join the good ship. Then it will be pot noodles all the way back :-(
