Day 1 at sea position 50:05.80N 002:56. 15W or in plain English, not far
from Alderney, 35 miles north west of to be precise. Ok, it is far.
A peaceful night was had by some...or least I had one. The rest were on
watch throughout the dark hours. I asked them all to tread lightly if they
heard snoring from the forward master-suite. I also explained that in case
of emergency dont bother trying to find me, I will already be long gone.
The new bread maker is on the galley sideboard. The instructions have been
read up to where it says, 'open the lid...'
Been running into wind since the minute we left Gosport so lucky we became
a floating Esso Diesel Station when we left. Mr Frog on my digital
barometric pressure gauge is wearing his sunglasses and smiling so all must
be good outside. Will have a look after a helping of Amber's finest Apple
Crumble with clotted cream is packed away. Don't want crew getting there
first. Will stick head up shortly, nod greetings to everyone, then finish
the final chapter of Fifty Shades of Grey on my Kindle.
