Set off from Les Saintes at 08.30 in 15k SE’ly and sailed goose winged to the SE end of Guadeloupe. Stopped 3 miles up the coast at Basse Terre to do some final French shopping. Unfortunately the supermarket is now in bits! Got a lift from a kind lady to a large supermarket, but had to find our own way back on two buses.

Departed BT around 13.00 and arrived Deshais at 6.15 after engine offanon sessions up the lee side of the island. Very busy here and a bit rolly. Tomorrow will be the final leg of about 44m to Antigua to the “start line”.
