Went for a (according to the cruising guide) ’10 mins’ hike up to a viewpoint then another ’10 mins’ hike up to some rock art.  Then decided to see if we could get to the top of the (almost) sheer sandstone rocks – after much scrambling, rock climbing and a bit of whingeing (Jean) we got to the top for lunch at the rock café with a fabulous view across to the other canyon and out to sea.  Came 15 miles down with the sea breeze to a peaceful river anchorage
