Looking at the grib files for the next 8 days, it looked as if we could make a bit of progress north today to Flinders then wait for a northerly to go through before heading to Eden.  The wind was forecast for SW15 – 20 and so far (7 hours) we’ve not seen more than around 15 knots.  However it’s a very pleasant sail with not much swell and the wind behind us – we’re sailing goose winged with the pole out and making very slow progress…we can just see the white sand of wineglass bay as we pass.
