First night and no dramas

We sailed mostly through the night with just the genoa. Wind was NNE F3-4. There were plenty of fishing boats and cargo ships we had to avoid and gybe for. This morning the wind changed to ENE F4 and we ran with main and spinnaker for a couple of hours and were surfing down the swell. Reached 13.8 knots! Wind has since dropped to 5 knots and are now under engine. Had a bit of a problem getting the spinnaker down and the spin halyard caught on the genoa furl but managed to rectify. We've just had a pasty and a cuppa, once I've finshed the blog I'm off for a rest!
