As we sailed across Lyme Bay the wind died & we motored for a couple of hours. After the calm came the beginning of the storm, well F5-6, so we tacked inshore to arrive at slack water off the bottom of Portland Bill. Once past the point the wind was on the nose & we motored up to the marina & tied up at 0200.
The long adventure is over. Rhumb Runner will now be put on the hard and sold, so I can look for another challenge.
