Not sure the gribs work around here

So far the gribs have not really had much bearing on what the wind has been doing since just before the equator. The forecast was for hardly any wind but until today we've had some reasonable winds & hence sailing.
The plan now is to get to within 100 miles of Africa near Guinea and then pick up the NE trade winds, where we will sail across to Cape Verde islands. Sounds easy.........
Taking advantage of the motoring, today is wash day. 3 loads of washing done in the washing machine and most of it dry already. It's all go this sailing lark.
