Well our first night was fairly boisterous. We have been sailing with 2 reefs in the main and 2 reefs in the genoa all night. Pretty rough and rolly and a lot of water in the cockpit. Upside is good speed and we have done 110 miles in last 18hrs.
Crew well but all 3 girls have been sick at one time or another. We were in VHF contact with Duende & Tyche in the night; they are somewhere behind us. We have a radio sched in 45 mins so will see how they are faring. Really comforting to have some familiar voices to talk to.
Going to rig up the wind vane in a mo' - been using Raymarine but using lots of powerr so we need to get acquantwed with thr Aries.
