Cant remember if I told you we lost a sail car on the main on Monday night,
we have taken the sail off and changed the cars but now can only use 2/3rds
of the main. Today in an effort to get more speed we tried to pole out the
Genoa and the mast fitting for the pole has snapped! No choice now but to
wallow on with main only dead downwind at 6 knots with 560 miles to go
