Left Portsmouth on one of the warmest nights
of the year, cleared The Needles at 24.00 and headed for the Alderney race, with
a planned arrival time of 08.00 to pick up the start of the race. Had an
excellent crossing - sleep totals Kevin 7 hours, John 4 hours, Mark 4 minutes.
Down Little Russel, slightly perplexed by the change in appearance to one of the
channel markers but arrived in St Peter Port at 13.00.
