Had a very pleasant overnight sail from Ahe to
Rangiroa and spectacular entrance through the pass with dolphins jumping clear
of the overfalls. Walked the village etc and sampled the local beer today just
to make sure that the quality was the same as on the other islands (which it
is).
Weather fantastic, scenery superb. This atol is so
big that you cannot see the other side, Tahiti will fit in it with room to
spare.
