Kokamo's position is 23:38.0S 178:53.8W

After a slightly bumpy ride over the last 24 hours, with some exciting waves and 30-35 knots of breeze, we've made it to North Minerva Reef. Having succesfully negotiated our way through the narrow entrance we are lying at anchor inside a perfect coral atol - no land for hundreds of miles but just enough protection from the waves to provide a sheltered spot for the night - a welcome respite on the journey Northwards. It looks like we are heading off again in the morning to make the most of the decent breeze before the wind direction changes. Next stop Tonga........
