We left the mooring in Niue on Sunday at 08:30 am
and arrived in Neiafu in the Vava'O group in Tonga 52 hours later, yet we
arrived on Wednesday ... How is that possible?
The forecast for the trip was zero wind, but we
actually ended up with enough wind to sail most of the time. Granted we weren't
flying, but we were sailing eventhough the wind never exceeded 11 knots. We
averaged just under 5 knots, which was pretty awesome considering we averaged
around 9 knots of wind.
Now we're on anchor in Neiafu, looking forward to
explore this island group. Blogs will be updated soon to show you
Niue.
