Nearly half-way

In less than 12 hours we should be passing the half
way mark :-)
Day 9 looked like this:
We logged 159 nm
Our average speed was 6.6 knots
We ran the engines for an hour to charge the
batteries.
Average wind speed was around 15 knots
At 18:00 yesterday we had 1739 nm to go before we
make landfall.
Since 18:00 last night we have been flying and have
rarely been going slower than 8 knots, so Day 10 should have a good average.
Right now we have 1595 nm to go, which means that in 95 nm we will be
half-ways.
Not much to report, except the waves are a bit
steep and big, hitting us on the beam, so the ride is quite bumpy, but with the
speed we have now, we don't mind.
Onwards to Marquesas we go :-)
