Coming into the cove between Allen and Leaf, was like sailing into a move set......two small uninhabited islands with a narrow cut of shallow water between the two, and if it's possible, even more awe inspiring shades of blue..... And to complete the picturesque surroundings a welcoming committee of iguanas....not just the usually green guys...these iguanas are native to the two cays here and are not found anywhere else on the planet.......they know....where there are humans coming to see them....there is food...everyone brings some left over greens and carrots to feed these prehistoric looking reptiles.....and they come out in scores to greet you.....the pecking order is most evident....if someone else has it.....you can try and get it.....(a lesson learned from the seagulls, no doubt).....a fun filled playful and educational visit to this small animals only island......encountered conch.........strangest animal I have ever seen, and the first sighting of the yellow throated bahamian tropical bird........after lunch on board with banjo music playing on the background from another boat.....we eased back out of the cut and headed south to Norman Cay.....
