First day of Racing!

Finally, the race has started, and Heineken Regatta 2011 kicked off with a 25nm Round-the-island-race. In very light winds and occasional lulls the crew of ESCAPADA did its best to adjust to this unusual situation, and managed to finish 7^th out of the 15 yachts in its class.

Wind conditions for the remaining 2 days of racing should stay very light, so it’s going to be a real challenge!
