We’ve decided to try to move faster: to reach Corsica via the Italian coast route. Today’s ‘early start’ was delayed however by a thunder storm. We left at noon and motored in sunshine and very little wind – being passed by superyachts at regular intervals – past some great scenery. We plan to return more slowly and explore more places, but push on a bit at the moment. We’ve reached the bay of Nice – the last part of the trip was rather unpleasant with big swell round Cap d’Antibe. (Yes I know, all the swells go to Antibes.)
