Yesterday we reached Imperia – a huge new marina under the old town of Port Maurizio, after an uncomfortable slog into the wind. Today was much better as the sea had quietened down, but the wind of course was still on the nose. We did have a good few hours sailing, but then had to motor sail to make progress to windward. We’ve arrived in Finale Ligure which is a nice port under the cliff, a bit beyond the town.  For a change there are no super-yachts. And no restaurant! So cooking on board tonight.
