Well, we eventually set off yesterday, in glorious sailing weather, which
amazingly has continued, sunny, blue sky, wind in the right direction and
not too much or too little. We'd had a great time at Nanny Cay, not just
lots of wonderful showers and a swimming pool, but also the people we met,
David and his son Justin, Steve and Hamish who are also crossing back, but a
bit later, Mandi and Kirsti who took us to customs and lots of others who
offered encouragement to get us on our way. It was really good to get out on
the water again, and our departure was photographed by yachtshotbvi.com who
made a special trip out for us so there should be some photos on their
website - sadly, we won't be able to look at them until we get to the
Azores.
Trying to settle back into the routine of watches, water and power
conservation, but good so far - we'll keep you informed and long may the
good weather continue.
