Quiet night with jib goose-winged on pole.
This morning spin up - squall - spin down - clear - spin up - squall - halyard pulls through clutch - spin down - jib poled.
New grib file shows evidence of continuing increased wind, so we will stick with the jib for now. Have gybed to starboard to avoid foecast flat patch.
Great bacon and eggs for breakfast from Will. Sue Hack international yacht spares delivery system + Port Solent Marine Superstore will bring out new cams for clutches to cope with shiny new Martin Leaning dynema rope!
Luckily when the spin halyard pulled through the rope snagged and jammed after about fifteen feet, before the sail went under the bows, so we still have a spare sail if needed.
Cheers from all.
