Well, we're still here. We've done more diving with Anchorage Dive Centre. The dives have all been amazing, seeing huge turtle asleep under a ledge, eels, big crabs and a bat fish, which is quite uncommon. We went whale watching, and saw good views of sperm whale. These are resident in the waters around, and are subject to quite a lot of research.  We also did the island tour with SeaCat, Botanical Gardens to see the bus crushed in the last hurricane, up to the Titou Gorge (cold swimming through a gorge to a waterfall), and to Trafalgar Falls, where there was a natural hot-tub, warm bath temperature, where we lay for over an hour, it was so relaxing. The forest here is Elfin forest, basically cloud forest, quite cool, very damp, but a huge variety of vegetation - really fascinating.
Yesterday we filled up with diesel, and while we were on the pontoon, Alec from Principessa pulls up alongside. It was lovely to see them and catch up on news.
We now have one more problem - nesting birds! There have been loud twitterings above our boat for several days, now identified as Caribbean Martins, unfortunately carrying nest material into the boom. They are incredibly nervous, and are both flying about, so I don't think there are eggs, but we will check - not sure what we will do if there are!
