W We have now been in the SE trades for 48 hours.
Great sailing (although noisy and plenty of boat movement), full main and
gennaker currently, 9 Kts boat speed assisted by 1 knot current going
our way.Squalls over night, so all hatches closed and it gets quite damp
below, great to be able to open up the hatches during the day. Just enjoyed Easter Sunday lunch, Richard and Geoff
bringing in a Mahi Mahi, so dinner sorted. John at the wheel.  Coffee and
faux Easter Eggs coming up............... ETA according to the plotter at this speed is
10 days from now, but still 2,300 miles to go, so we are very open
minded!! After talking with Rob on a monohull this
morning, we feel very lucky to be on the beautiful Boundless. Rob and
Hannah and two children under 6 not having the same ride we are, and having
to work twice as hard! At least a dozen flying fish on deck this morning
and 2 squid! |
